One of our favorite things to do when we visit a new town is to find a nice place to go for a walk. Tacoma has a lot of wonderful waterfront access. Ruston way goes for miles, and there are all kinds of trails in Pt. Defiance Park. Check out maps in all the parks at Tacoma Parks.
Did you bring your bike? You can walk or ride your bike on these new trails: Pierce County Trails and Scott Pierson-Trail (this is a new trail that traverses Tacoma and goes over Tacoma’s Narrows Bridges).
